He’s a vibrant, productive plant in the garden of sensible action. We subscribe to the Green Burial Council’s guidelines. So,

PROFIT, ATTITUDE, WIN-WIN – PART TWO
I have been on the trail of the win-win for a long time. The trail will probably never end. The early years of discovery gave way to later years of proof even as those later years gave way in society to greater greed and the definition of research gave way to “an analysis of how to get all you can, can all you get” and in the words of P.T.Barnum “never give a sucker an even break.”
But the proof has held and whether conscience is learned or instinctive I am convinced by that significant proof that an effort to give more than I get in any transaction will ultimately litter the transaction trail with profound profit.

my only begotten son
Jason is my son. Yes, like “Jason and the Argonauts”. Adventurous, venturesome. More than that, I wanted him to be the kind of venturesome that benefited others.
From the beginning I never talked baby talk to him. I sang baby talk to him. But when I talked to him, I talked to myself and to him. I practiced using my most sonorous voice, well inflected sentences, well pronounced words. Appropriate words. Words appropriate for what I was saying, not necessarily words he understood. Because, in the beginning he understood none of them.
But, his vocabulary of understood words was surprising when he was five and able to use those words. My conversation became less a soliloquy and more a dialog. Then he was better able to reason my continual discussion of values. Particularly the idea of win-win. He understood I hoped he would be so adventurous that he would enter into ventures with others with the idea that he and the others would benefit from the venture. He explained it worked particularly well for him and his best friend Raymond. Read more »
